'Crimson Alliance' Will Receive New Content in October

The first week of September 'Crimson Alliance' went on sale in Xbox Live Arcade, and did so under a strange and successful business model that many could better amortize their investment taking into account that a great majority of the public of the hack'n slash always plays with the same class. Why pay for two others not try? It is thought Certain Affinity Studio, and I think he has done well making this decision.

Apart from that, the truth is that 'Crimson Alliance' is not bad, being an action-RPG quite alluring and with a large arcade to combat component. In addition, as usual lately, we can enjoy the adventure in the company of three others; they have the class to have. And if there is someone who is not satisfied with this, perhaps you cheerful knowing that Certain Affinity we have saved a DLC, titled "Vengeance Pack", in which will offer us a mini campaign of four levels and a map of challenges with a new mode called "Fistful of Coins", by way of wave against beasts.

All this will be one greater challenge than the own 'Crimson Alliance' campaign, and we can get it on 12 October after disbursing 240 MS (~ 3 Euros). We do not know how long this DLC will be, but probably gameplay "Fistful of Coins" will that played in the company, provide more replayability as the rest to try to beat all score possible. Separate to be grateful it's not as expensive as other companies DLC we have adapted…

'Crimson Alliance' and Its Curious And Successful Business Model

The Xbox Live Arcade Summer of 2011 is over, but if you buy all the games that were part of it know full well that Microsoft will give away at no charge in the future 'Crimson Alliance', whose release date, is set on Xbox Live Arcade on 7 September. In this way we saved 15 Euros, which never hurts for anything else.

What we did not expect is that Certain Affinity, the development studio in the past that brought us the hilarious 'Age of Booty', took the decision to adopt a different business model to try to attract more buyers, particularly those who are 15 a bit Euros for a game in downloadable format. I know many cases of it, actually.

This business model is to provide technically four types of 'Crimson Alliance'. On the one hand, the full game with all three available classes (mercenary, magician and murderer), which costs 15 Euros the above, and another game with only one class, obtaining, therefore, three sets: one with the mercenary, the other with the magician and the other with the murderer. In this case for 10 Euros.

Why so? Because the study said many people fond of hack'n slash ends up playing only one class. This will save 5 Euros unnecessary, since otherwise the game will be the same, and we can play co-op with people who have other classes. The only impediment is that we are unable to create us a different kind other than what we bought. Just that, because otherwise it will be the same game.

In this way, 10 Euros seem to me more attractive, but given that we get for 5 Euros plus the other two classes, the focus will be whether these two interest us or not, and based on that pay 15 Euros or only 10. The math does not fail, and this hack'n slash of XBLA not sleazy. Let's see if lives up to leave so soon, but for now I applaud this business model. Another story is opting for 15 Euros for a class and then 20 for the other two, but since last E3 as we knew its price look good. Besides you have to remove the monkey for the 'Diablo III' somehow, right?

'Bastion' Available On PC Later This Year But Dropped Arrival On PlayStation

'Bastion' has been chosen as the starting signal for the Xbox Live Arcade Summer of 2011, So the beautiful action RPG Supergiant Games developed by and is available for 1,200 Microsoft Points. But if you have an Xbox 360 and would like to enjoy this title, make sure that the PC will come later.

Its creators have confirmed that 'Bastion' will available on PC later this year; they want to take time to adapt properly to the control with keyboard and mouse. It may seem long, but keep in mind that talking about a small study and much more limited resources than those of a developer.

The bad news is that Supergiant Games has dropped for now its arrival on PlayStation Network because their intention is to focus on working one version simultaneously. However, although it is possible to put with it once the conversion to PC, so I guess it all depends on how well they go on sale in the coming months.

'Bastion' And Its Precious Launch Trailer

The Summer of Xbox Live Arcade this year is coming soon. Next July 20 will start this summer promotion which will see five of the leading titles this year for Xbox Live Arcade, the first of them 'Bastion' , the study Supergiant Games.

A creation that has garnered multiple awards and seeing her in motion comes entirely through the view that price within a graphic style isometric view, and a story to be told (to be seen if we get bent, of course) always before our steps. An adventure with touches of action that aims high, and within just three days we will have in the Xbox Live Arcade.

If we want input, for 1200 MS (~ 15 Euros) we will, and if not, we can always test your demo to see what it seems. Also in the future, even on a date to be announced, will also be released on PC, and I'm not surprised, seeing how high notes, to follow the same path as 'Braid' or 'Limbo' , coming later to PSN after his success on XBLA and Steam time to time.

E3 2011: Summer of Xbox Live Arcade. Promotional Video And List of Games That Make Up This Summer Season

One of the things that surprised me most of the Microsoft conference, but worse, has been little weight is given to Xbox Live Arcade , especially considering that one of the most striking aspects of Xbox 360 and most improved over the years, providing exclusive top level. Luckily the Summer of Xbox Live Arcade is still standing, as every year, and we have a promotional video off the record where we can see the five titles up this summer season.

The campaign will start next July 20, receiving a different game each week, this is apart of that day, the 27th of that month, and 3, 10 and 17 August. Knowing the price increase which we have been subjected to video games in a downloadable format, it is likely that difficult to fall this year selected the 1,200 MS, but it is still early to tell. What we can do is know what games will be, leaving the mystery once and for all:

Xbox Live Arcade Summer of 2011

'Bastion' (Supergiant Games / Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment)
• 'From Dust' (Ubisoft Montpellier / Ubisoft)
• 'Fruit Ninja Kinect' (Halfbrick / Microsoft Game Studios)
• "Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet ' (FuelCell Games / Microsoft Game Studios)
• 'Toy Soldiers: Cold War' (Signal Studios / Microsoft Game Studios)

They will not necessarily in that order, as another of the aspects that are unknown right now is when will everyone within these deadlines. But at least we know that next month will begin the Summer of Xbox Live Arcade , which is no small feat.
